Born in Sydney to a Fijian mother and Greek father, Perry grew up in dining rooms - at home and in the restaurants. His family’s venues were an extension of their home. His Mum brought the warmth, and Dad the quiet strength and structure. Together, they built places where people felt at home. That feeling shaped everything he knows about space. It was never just about how things looked, it was about how they made you feel. That instinct guides his work today. He designs spaces that carry memory and soul. Places that aren’t too perfect, that feel like someone’s already shared a meal or a moment inside them.

Perry now leads the design across his hospitality group [SRG], working alongside his siblings to honour their parents’ legacy. But this practice isn’t just family-bound. Whether it’s a residence, a beachside kiosk, or a heritage-listed post office, his work is always rooted in feeling, layered with references from the past, and built to be lived in. His style is instinctive, bold, and drawn from the past - vintage textiles, nostalgic palettes, worn-in timber, playful patterns. Always considered, never too polished. Because he believes the best spaces don’t just look good, they remind you of somewhere you’ve loved.

This instinctive approach has led to industry recognition and numerous accolades across the hospitality sector, with the hospitality group consistently praised for preserving a sense of family, intimacy and detail in a landscape where that’s increasingly rare.
